The barriers of the industrial explosion series are intended mainly for oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical complex facilities, enterprises producing pyrotechnics and ammunition, large railway junctions.
In contrast to the barriers of the “anti-terror” series, which are normalized depending on the mass of the TNT detonated charge and the distance from it to the obstacle, here the main factor is excessive pressure, in the front of the passing air shock wave, usually measured in kPa, as well as the duration of the compression phase.

Ordinary - open outward translucent hatches, which at the time of explosion should be closed and locked. Otherwise, the UV will change direction and weaken, but may cause damage.
LDVDs equipped with closing and closing mechanisms. Closed by an alarm or signal from the central console. The total closing time is about 1 min.
LDVR equipped with emergency closing mechanisms. At the signal from the overpressure sensors placed as close as possible to the epicenter of the explosion, the mechanism emergency slams the flap. At the same time, the distance from the epicenter of the explosion to the barrier should be at least 100 meters (the time required to close the window is 300 ms, at a transonic speed of shock wave propagation). There is no 100% guarantee of success!
